Traveling with your private group, your day begins with collection from your city hotel at 0900 and a drive down Melbournes famous “St Kilda Boulevard” and through the picturesque eastern suburbs. We follow a scenic route through to the Dandenong Ranges with its impressive Mountain Ashforest to Belgrave where Puffing Billy, Australia’s oldest surviving and most famous preserved steam railway, will be waiting for you to depart.

On completion of you steam train journey in Lakeside, we continue our journey through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges and visit the Mt. Dandenong Observatory for stunning views over Melbourne and its surrounds.

We then travel to one of Victoria’s premium wine regions, the Yarra Valley. Here you will be entertained with a fine lunch at one of the most beautiful wineries in the region. After lunch we will be lead by a local guide on a tour of one of the Moet and Chandon estate properties, Domain Chandon. To end the day you will be able to take in the views of the region with a full glass of Chandon in hand and sample some of the gourmet local produce.

A scenic route brings us back to the city and your hotel by 5 pm.

Our Steam Trains & Great Wines tour is a private tour only which departs at 0900 from

Melbourne. Pickups are available from all city hotels within Melbourne. Passengers will be returned to their points of departure at 1700 at the completion of the tour.
